TORONTO, July 09, 2020 – Mr. Tudor Ulianovschi, Senior Vice President of Global Government Relations at Grasshopper Energy has been nominated to become the next Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) by the Government of the Republic of Moldova.
Mr. Tudor Ulianovschi joined the Grasshopper Energy Executive Team after having served in the diplomatic service of the Republic of Moldova for over 15 years, reaching the highest-level position of Minister of Foreign Affairs. With vast experience in international political, economic relations and trade policy, Mr. Ulianovschi has been a valuable asset for our team, leading Grasshopper’s strategy for strengthening relations with elected officials, government agencies and other relevant stakeholders in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa, promoting the company’s vision for clean, sustainable and affordable energy and providing counsel on legislation and policy decisions that promotes the well being of economies and communities.

After the nomination period ended on July 8, 2020, as part of the selection process, candidates will meet the 164 Members of the World Trade Organization to present their visions for the future of world trade.
