Granville, Massachusetts, July 29, 2021 – As part of our continued commitment to deliver support for local communities, Grasshopper Energy is proud to partner with the Town of Granville’s Green Committee tasked with the management of the Town Green public space
“We are grateful to the Granville Green Committee who have given us the chance to partner and contribute to this wonderful community effort to bring this long awaited pavilion project to reality” said Azeem M. Qureshi, CEO and founder of Grasshopper Energy.
“We are very appreciative to Grasshopper Energy for the $5,000 donation we received. With town folks’ donations of $5404.81, we now have the funds to build the pavilion on our beautiful Town Green.” said Linda Blakesley, head of the Green Committee which was formed to keep the Green public space looking at its best. Weeding, mulching, planting and all-around yard work including the majority of work put into the building of this pavilion are done by volunteers.
Grasshopper believes in community-centered approaches to green initiatives. Especially with the impacts of COVID-19, Grasshopper appreciates the importance of green space to the well-being of residents and public health in general. The availability of well maintained green spaces such as parks and pavilions for social gatherings helps to promote physical and mental health.
